About Lusitania Weddings

Lusitania Weddings did not begin in an office. It began in August 2025, when we organised our own wedding.

We were based in London. We wanted to marry in Lisbon — at the Sé Catedral, Portugal's oldest church, and celebrate at Quinta do Grilo. Everything we had imagined. And we had to make it happen from 2,500 kilometres away.

I contacted every vendor personally: the church, the caterers, the musicians, the travel operators who brought family in from three countries. My wife Xana took charge of everything you see — the flowers, the decoration, the details that made the quinta feel like ours. Between us, we built a wedding our guests are still talking about.

What we learned is that this process is genuinely hard for couples outside Portugal. Vendors who do not always respond promptly to international enquiries. Logistics that assume you can visit a venue next weekend. The gap between what you imagine and what you can practically arrange from abroad.

Lusitania Weddings exists to close that gap. We have been through this. We know every step. And now we handle it for you.
